Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Valley (7 H Drive)

Our journey then takes us to Ouarzazate, the “gateway to the desert”. Where we explore the famous Atlas Film Studios and the historical Kasbah of Taourirt. We continue to the Valley of the Roses, known for its annual rose festival in May where local products like rose water, oil, and cosmetics are showcased. The day concludes in Boumalne Dades, where we’ll enjoy dinner and stay overnight in a local hotel or riad.

Day 2: Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Merzouga Desert (4 H Drive)
The second day starts with a breakfast followed by a visit to the breathtaking Dades Gorge. We then forward to the Todra Gorge, an inspiring canyon formed by the Todra River.
In the afternoon, we arrive at the Sahara desert near Merzouga, go on a camel trek across the dunes, and witness a magical desert sunset. The night is spent in a luxurious desert camp, enjoying Berber drum music and dancing under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga Desert Tour (6 H Drive)
An early morning wake-up is recommended to experience the the beautiful sunrise in the middle of the desert. Free time for breakfast. Return by camel to Merzouga, and spend the day exploring the region. with its dunes, lakes, mines, fossil areas, and oases. Our tour includes an off-road drive to an ancient eyeliner mine, a visit to nomadic tents for Berber tea, and a stop in Khamlia village to enjoy Gnaoua music. We’ll also venture through a palm forest and visit the Merzouga Lake, also known as Flamingo Lake. The day ends with dinner and an overnight stay at a hotel.

Day 4: Merzouga Desert – Ziz Valley – Ifrane – Fes (9 H Drive)
The final day starts with another opportunity to witness the desert sunrise. After breakfast. we leave to explore Rissani, a historical trade center, and visit its vibrant market. Our journey continues through Arfoud with a stop at a petrified marble shop, and then along the Ziz River for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley. We’ll have lunch in Midelt, visit a cedar forest inhabited by Barbary macaques in Ifran, famously known as the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’, and conclude the trip with a drop-off at your destination in Fez.
